Whether it’s summer or during school breaks, our camps offer a variety of exciting activities, including bug hunts, nature arts, hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling. Each day is filled with exploration and hands-on learning, fostering a deep appreciation for nature while making new friends. Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM daily
Ages: 7-13 years
Cost: $80.00 per child
Get ready for three days of exciting outdoor adventures at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park! Each day offers a unique experience:
Monday: Backcountry Trailer Ride
Tuesday: Archery and Bug Hunt
Wednesday: Dip Netting (Please send your child with a change of clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy.)
What to Bring Daily:
Snacks, lunch, and a reusable water bottle
Closed-toed shoes (No sandals or Crocs allowed)
Sunscreen and bug spray
Drop-off and Pick-up Details:
Location: STARKEY ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER, Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park
Drop-off: 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM
Pick-up: 2:45 PM - 3:00 PM
Please ensure that a parent or guardian walks their child to the building for sign-in/out with a staff member. Drop-off before 9:00 AM is not permitted, and a photo ID is required for pick-up. We will verify approved names provided during registration.
